Horrible service! Their attitude sucks i will never return there again i rather wash and iron my clothes at home This Business needs to Close
I just moved to New Iberia from Texas and started using Your Cleaners because it is close to my home and work. From the first day I walked in the door, I felt like I was putting out the staff at the dry cleaners. Their attitude wasn't the worst, but I definitely was offended by a couple snide looks after they learned I was from Texas. Sue made me feel about as welcome as a hurricane. Not a warm/welcoming environment. But, I was willing to look past it because of the convenience factor until they ruined my nicest shirt. The shirt, which was a gift and had only been worn three times since new, was bought for $150 at Billy Reid. The cleaners melted a zipper across the front of the shirt and notified me when I returned to pick it up. I assumed (like any self-respecting business) they would be remorseful and offer to pay for the shirt to keep a customer and because, well, it would be the right thing to do. Instead, I knew from the beginning of the conversation with Goldie, the manager, that I was going to be given the run around. She tried to tell me that "the law" stated she would only be able to refund 10x the value of the dry cleaning bill. That would be about a $20 reimbursement for an almost new $150 shirt. She asked if I could produce a receipt for the shirt which I could not. However, I went online to the Billy Reid website and offered to accept reimbursement for the cheapest shirt they sell which was $135. She took my proposal to the owner and the owner said they found a discount Billy Reid shirt online for $50 and they would compensate me for that amount. That is a third of the value of the shirt. Well, I let them know that they would not be getting any of my business going forward and I would gladly spread the good word about their stellar service to others. Since that conversation a couple weeks ago, I have not heard back from owner or manager and have not received any kind of compensation for the shirt they ruined. Very disappointed and surprised they are still in business if this is how they treat customers.
Sorry for all the things you all went through..... The business is now ran by new owners an new workers with friendly smiles an great attitudes..... Please come an see the change........
My husband and I both like to buy nice things for special occasions...like a nice blouse for me or a button down for him. Now these things we buy are usually not cheap. We could say probably around $120 for a shirt. These people at this location have now ruin not 1 shirt but 2!!! Both cost around $80 each for a short sleeve button down. When we picked up the shirts, one (which was a bright, solid, white one) was now YELLOWISH/Tan now and it was about 2 times smaller and the other one was 2 times smaller also! I will post signs every where about this place and let everyone know how "great" the service is. These people do not know anything about dry cleaning!!!! GO TO DEROUEN's ON PARKVIEW...they are the best!
