I brought my child to the emergency room because while playing baseball he was injured on Friday May 29, 2015. He was hit directly in the head with another child's knee which knocked him out. He was out for several minutes and when he did awaken, he was disoriented and his eyes were dilated. It took a good 10 - 15 mins before I could get him to respond to me. We spent 5 Hours at IMC before we saw a doctor and when we did she didn't even check him for a concussion. Now I made her aware that he had had a mild concussion before. She told me that his strength was fine and his eyes looked fine and that its not like he collided with an adult. This doctor talked to me like I was an idiot for bringing my child in. I did NOT trust her opinion, so I brought my child to his pediatrician the foIlowing Monday to find out that he, in fact, DID have a concussion. So needless to say I WILL NEVER BRING MY CHILD HERE TO IMC AGAIN!
I'm currently there now..and my experience is so horrible...the staff in the in the e.r..not the ladies at the front desk...but in the back..i had an encounter with 2 staff members they were so rude cutting me off...and not trying to help me at all...the doctor was great..but the staff need to be checked..wish i woukd have gotten there names
I need surgery to remove something another dr put in. It caused me to have clots. I was turned down today by Iberia general surgeons. There logo was helping patients. I really thought this was the best hospital to go to since it saved my life 8 yrs ago. Now I was told none of the board can help me.Thanks for letting me down Iberia general.
I just came out the hospital and I was there since Friday Morning I have to admit that the weekendo worker was awesome until Monday and Tuesday came around and the nurses that took care of me were plain ugly almost like the didn't want to help me..I gave them all the same respect as others and still they were ugly.. I might try it again depending on the my pain level. . But anything other than that I will not be seen by this hospital
I have been a hopefully good patient here in Iberia Medical Center for a while now... I have one of the best rooms here, the Staff are wonderful!!!! Courteous and friendly, very informative... God Bless everyone... Thank you Dr Ong for your patience with me and bless you and your Staff too...
